For accepted projects, recipients will be notified in early April 2023 and 50% of the funds will be transmitted before the 2023 school year ends. Projects must be completed before the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
Progress reports are due in August 2023, November 2023, February 2024 and the final report in May 2024, or sooner if the project is ahead of schedule. We will send reminders. The reports are simple and state, in general, the percentage of completion and overall status of the project. Photos, videos, graphics and other information can be uploaded for review. Also, if the project is not going as originally described in the application, plan to report the revised project design.
In the final report, the results of the project must be documented. We are looking for measurable, tangible benefits to the selected CAAP mitigation goal(s). Upon receipt of the final report, the remaining 50% of the grant funds will be transmitted.
Those unique and highly-successful projects will be recognized by City leadership.
