Schedule a community cleanup event and dispose of unwanted brush or bulky items right in the neighborhood. Formerly called Dial-A-Trailer, through our Disposal Assistance Team (DAT) program, you can reserve a garbage truck and trailer parked conveniently in a central location such as a parking lot or a park. This program is offered only on Saturdays.
We currently have four DATs available per Saturday. We can only send one unit per location request. Organizations are limited to two DAT events per calendar year. Only requests within the San Antonio city limits can be served. Please have three preferred Saturday dates when requesting this service as desired dates may already be committed. Events may not be scheduled on consecutive Saturdays. When scheduled, a truck and container will be stationed at a site from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
